Notice: Dog Park Closure
Rougeview Leash Free Dog Park will be closed on Thursday, October 17 and Friday, October 18 for routine maintenance. The park will reopen at 4 PM on October 18, ready for dogs and their owners to enjoy once again. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
Upcoming Water Swabbing Program: Important Water Usage Advisory - October 20-22, 2024
The Town of Stouffville and the Ontario Clean Water Agency will be conducting a Watermain Swabbing program south of Main Street between Park Drive and Tenth Line for two consecutive nights, Sunday October 20, 2024, from the hours of 9:00 PM until 5:30 AM on Monday, October 21, 2024 as well as Monday, October 21, from 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.
Public Meeting: Proposed Zoning By-law Amendment ZBA22.014
The purpose of this Council Public Meeting is to consider a proposed 14-lot residential subdivision. This is a way for you to offer input and get involved. Drop in for an exciting lineup of activities to make the most of the Thanksgiving Holiday! Please note that Town facilities will have modified hours over the Thanksgiving Holiday, including Town Hall, Leisure Centre, Fitness Centre, WS Public Library, Stouffville Arena, Clippers Arena, 19 On The Park, Museum, and 55+ Club.
Flags at half-mast in honour of Sharon Norton
Today, Friday, September 27, flags are being flown at half-mast at Town Hall and the Leisure Centre as we honour Sharon Louis Norton (Ranson), who sadly passed away on September 10. Sharon dedicated 28 years as a school crossing guard.
Notice: Main Street Temporary Road Closure
The Town of Stouffville's Engineering and Public Works Department would like to inform residents and businesses of a temporary road closure on Main Street, from Tenth Line South to Stouffer Street from Tuesday, September 17, 8 PM - Wednesday, September 18, approximately 7 AM.
Fire & Emergency Services to Conduct Tanker Shuttle Evolutions Training
Stouffville Fire & Emergency Services will be undertaking a critical training exercise on Thursday September 12, performing tanker shuttle evolutions. The exercise will be conducted between 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Reviving History: Bogarttown Schoolhouse to Re-open after Restoration
The newly restored Bogarttown Schoolhouse will be opening up with a ribbon cutting event on Saturday, September 21, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum & Community Centre.
Spray Pad Season is Coming to a Close
The Town of Stouffville has begun the soft closure of its spray pads as the summer season winds down. However, the Town will reopen the pads if temperatures rise above 25°C, allowing residents to cool off during any remaining warm days.
