Notice of Public Consultation for Community Benefits Charge

Background: On Wednesday, June 5, 2024 the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville will hold a public consultation meeting, pursuant to section 37 of the Planning Act, 1990, as amended, to present and obtain public input on the Town’s proposed Community Benefit Charge (C.B.C.) By-law and underlying Strategy.

Public Impact:

All interested parties are invited to attend the Public Consultation Meeting and any person who attends the meeting may make representations relating to the proposed C.B.C. By-law and Strategy.  The meeting is to be held:

Time: 7:00 pm

To ensure sufficient information is available to the public, the Strategy will be available online at the Town’s website at townofws.ca/cbcbylaw on May 23, 2024. Copies of the proposed C.B.C. By-law and the Strategy will also be available as of May 23, 2024, at the above location (905-640-1900 ext.2234).

Interested persons may express their comments at the Public Consultation Meeting or in writing, addressed to the Town Clerk, at the above address before June 4, 2024.
