Construction Update Notice: Winona Drive Reconstruction
Project Update
Please be advised that the Winona Drive Reconstruction Project is currently at the restoration stage. Rabcon Contractors Ltd. is in the process of restoring the boulevards, the driveways, road excavation and streetlighting works.
What Residents Can Expect
Beginning August 15, the contractor will start road excavation work from Main Street, progressing north along Winona Drive.
Access to and from Main Street via Winona Drive will be temporarily closed and traffic will be detoured via Rupert Avenue. As excavation progresses north along Winona Drive, please expect temporary closure at Rupert Avenue and traffic will be detoured via Main St. Following the road excavation, the roadway will be paved.
The above work is expected to last one to two weeks, weather permitting.
Business Access
Access to all businesses will be maintained throughout construction, either from Rupert Avenue or Main Street.
Traffic and Waste Collection
Traffic disruption is anticipated during construction and all required traffic control measures will be followed during this work. Please label your garbage, recycling, and green bins with your address as the Contractor may be required to move them to facilitate construction activities.
