Town to Introduce Santa Mailboxes at Several Facilities

Stouffville Steps in to Save Santa's Mail!

The Canada Post strike won’t stop Santa from hearing from Stouffville’s little ones! The Town of Stouffville is on a special holiday mission to make sure every letter reaches the North Pole on time.

Mayor Lovatt and Council will be playing “Santa’s Helpers” at the Santa Claus Parade on Saturday, December 7th, collecting letters from excited kids (and kids at heart!) along the parade route.

Beyond the parade, several Santa Mailboxes will be installed in various town facilities from Wednesday, December 11th through Friday, December 20th. And while Santa might be too busy preparing gifts to reply to everyone, every letter will reach the North Pole safely.

"We know how important it is for children to send their letters to Santa, and we didn’t want the Canada Post strike to dim that holiday magic,” said Mayor Iain Lovatt. “We’re ready to be Santa’s elves, delivering smiles and Christmas wishes from Stouffville straight to the North Pole!”

How to Send Your Letters:

  • Parade Pickup: Bring your letters to the Santa Claus Parade on Saturday, December 7th and hand them to the Mayor, Council members, or volunteers!
  • Drop-Off Locations: Starting December 11th, letters can also be dropped off at Town Hall, the Leisure Centre, Clippers Complex, or Stouffville Arena.

The Stouffville Santa Claus Parade kicks off at 6 PM on Saturday, December 7th on Main Street heading east from Ninth Line to Park Drive. This year’s event will feature 45+ floats, live entertainment, and, of course, a special appearance by Santa himself.
