Communications Survey
Town Seeks Input on Communications & Community Engagement for New Strategy
The Town of Stouffville is reaching out to residents and local business owners seeking input on how we communicate everything from Council decisions to community events to changes in process. The Communications & Community Engagement survey is now live at townofws.ca/CommsSurvey.
“Connecting with our community is a top priority for us,” said Corporate Communications Manager, Glenn Jackson. “The goal of this survey is to strengthen our community engagement and communication efforts with residents and business owners so that they all feel well-informed on municipal issues they’re most passionate about.”
The results from this survey will be reviewed and analyzed by Town staff and incorporated within a new Corporate Communications & Community Engagement Strategy. This strategy aims to provide the information citizens are most interested in, delivered in the way they would most like to receive it and allows the Town to engage citizens on the issues they are most passionate about.
“Receiving input from residents, business owners and community groups is vital to ensuring improved communications with our community,” said Mayor Iain Lovatt. “Engaging in this kind of two-way communication with our community allows for further transparency and accountability for Council and staff.”
This questionnaire has 22 questions and takes approximately 7-10 minutes to complete and all answers will remain confidential.
