Annually, the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville produces or updates a variety of publications, including plans and strategies, and our Community Report to residents and businesses, highlighting our collective achievements.

The Strategic Plan outlines the goals, objectives and key activities of each of our strategic pillars. The success and completion of these key activities will be measurable and reported to Council quarterly to ensure transparency, accountability and progress.

The Master Fire Plan is a comprehensive document detailing the strengths, challenges, vision, strategies, recommendations, and associated action plans for a fire department. 

The 2022 Master Plan celebrates the Town’s successes to date and addresses future needs and opportunities for leisure, recreation, sports, and culture.

This plan aligns with the goals in the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act to identify, remove and prevent barriers that restrict opportunities for people with disabilities. The Town provides a range of services to its residents and businesses. The Asset Management Plan describes the actions required to manage this portfolio of assets in a way that supports established service levels, while managing risks and costs.

In response to the calls to action outlined in the Final Report of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada, we developed a Reconciliation and Engagement Plan. Learn more on our Reconciliation and Engagement Page. 

This plan provides a roadmap for energy management, describing the activities the Town can take over the next 5 years to increase its energy efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and minimize environmental footprint, in compliance with Ontario Regulation 397/11 under the Green Energy Act (2009).
