A Summer to Celebrate: Stouffville Unveils 2026 Event Lineup

The Town of Stouffville is excited to once again bring residents and visitors a full lineup of summer events, including the return of the Stouffville Celebrates Summer Series, presented by City Park Homes. This year’s lineup features a variety of free concerts and events, offering fun, music, and memorable experiences for residents and visitors of all ages.

The Stouffville Celebrates Summer Series returns with its highlight event, Stouffville Ribfest, from Friday, August 7 to Sunday, August 9. Enjoy great food, a vibrant vendor marketplace, rides, and family-friendly entertainment all weekend long.

On Saturday, August 8, JUNO Award-winning singer-songwriter Rêve takes the stage at the bandshell. With over 170 million global streams and hits like “CTRL + ALT + DEL,” she is one of Canada’s top emerging pop acts. South African-Canadian artist CON THE ARTIST opens with his bold, genre-blending sound.

Canadian country sensation Dan Davidson headlines Friday, August 7, bringing 20 CCMA nominations, ten CMAB awards, a platinum single, and nearly 34 million streams. Opening the night, Haitian-Canadian artist Tedy has surpassed 60 million global streams and, with his debut album Scandalous, is quickly rising as a powerful new voice.

Summer in Stouffville begins with Victoria Day Fireworks on May 15, setting the stage for a season filled with exciting events. On June 13, residents can also enjoy Art in the Park, hosted by the Latcham Art Centre, celebrating local creativity in a vibrant outdoor setting. From June 26 to 28, Memorial Park hosts the always-popular Strawberry Festival, partially funded by Province of Ontario, Experience Ontario Program, followed by Canada Day celebrations on July 1, featuring fireworks, live music, and food vendors, partially funded by Government of Canada, Celebrate Canada Program.

Throughout the summer, residents and visitors can also enjoy Movies in the Park on July 24 and August 14. On July 17, Symphony Under the Stars returns to Memorial Park, where the Kindred Spirits Orchestra will perform from 8 to 10 p.m., filling the evening with live music.

“The Stouffville Celebrates Summer Series is all about bringing people together and enjoying everything our community has to offer,” said Mayor Iain Lovatt. “These free events create opportunities for residents and visitors to connect, share experiences, and enjoy a lively, welcoming atmosphere throughout the summer. New this year, sports fans can come together for Game On, Stouffville, including two outdoor soccer public viewing events. Cheer on Team Canada during their kickoff match on Friday, June 12 in Civic Square, and join the excitement again on Wednesday, July 1 in Memorial Park ahead of Canada Day celebrations.

The 19 on the Park Patio Series brings free outdoor concerts to Main Street, featuring country sounds from The Beresfords on June 25, high-energy party rock with The Slime Dogs on July 23, and summer favourites from The Beach Party Boys on August 13. The Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum also joins the celebration with Doors Open on June 6 and the 53rd Annual Antique & Classic Car Show on August 9, featuring over 400 vintage vehicles, live performances, and exhibits.
