Notice - Memorial Park Servicing

Improvements are planned for Memorial Park, including servicing work, site restoration, and new plantings north of the Thicketwood baseball diamond near Booth Drive and Park Drive.

Start Date: September 29, 2026
Estimated Completion: End of November 2026

What to Expect

  • A portion of the north-east parking lot will be used as a staging area for construction equipment, materials and workers.
  • Temporary construction fencing will be installed adjacent to the baseball diamond dugout to ensure the safety of workers and park users.
  • The baseball diamond will remain open.
  • Servicing improvements, site restoration, and planting activities will take place within the fenced work zone.

Impact on residents

  • Minor delays may occur at the entrance to the parking lot as construction vehicles and equipment enter and exit the site.
  • Construction activities will comply with all applicable Town by-laws.
