Business Registration Program

The Town of Stouffville is working to build a stronger, more connected business community through the new Business Registration Program (BRP), beginning January 1, 2026.
This new program is a voluntary, no-fee program designed to help local businesses thrive while giving the Town better tools to understand and support our local economy.

Why We’re Launching the BRP

Stouffville’s business landscape is diverse, fast-growing, and full of hometown personality. To plan effectively and champion local success, the Town needs a clearer picture of who’s doing business here, what they need, and how the economy is evolving.

In response to Council’s direction, the BRP was created to:

  • Strengthen communication between the Town and local businesses
  • Provide a snapshot of Stouffville’s economy, offering valuable insights into local sectors, growth patterns, and business needs
  • Improve access to enhanced regional employment and workforce data
  • Support better decision-making related to job creation, economic growth, and business support programs
  • Offer a centralized, reliable source of information for long-term planning

The BRP is designed not just to collect information, but to build a stronger, more responsive, and more connected business community.
