The Town of Stouffville offers a 24-hour bulk water dispenser for contractors working in the community. Through our bulk water dispenser, you can purchase potable drinking water.

Contractors are required to complete a Bulk Water Application to set up an account. Payments can be made online through the Bulk Water Payment Form or at the Customer Service Desk at 111 Sandiford Dr., Stouffville, from Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (not including statutory holidays).

Questions about the bulk water supply should be directed to 905-640-1900. Follow the prompts for service outside of regular business hours.

The bulk water dispenser is located at 120 Ringwood Dr. in Stouffville and costs $3.74/m3.  You can access bulk water 24-hours a day from the bulk water dispenser. To connect to the bulk water dispenser, you need to hook up to a male 3 inch Camlock fitting that is provided.

Only authorized water haulers can take water from hydrants. Through the permitting program, there are many legitimate users of fire hydrants. However, every year thousands of litres of water are take illegally from hydrants in our municipality. Illegal use of hydrants increases water system costs and threatens water quality.

If you want to know if a company taking water from a hydrant in your neighbourhood has a permit and is complying with that permit, please record the:

• Company name
• Vehicle license plate number
• Approximate location of the hydrant
