Fire Ban in effect for Town of Stouffville
The Town of Stouffville, in accordance with local municipal by-law and the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, has announced a temporary ban on all open-air burning, including recreational fires, within its jurisdiction, effective immediately and until further notice.
Flags Lowered to Half-Mast in Honour of Ted Tindall
Flags at Town Hall and Operations Centre facilities are lowered on Monday, August 11 to half-mast in honour of the life of Ted Tindall, a former Town of Stouffville Public Works employee who served for over 30 years. Ted, husband of the late Laurie Tindall and father to Megan, leaves behind a lasting legacy of dedication and service to our community.

Community Safety Camera Program Seeing Early Success In Safety Zones
The Town of Stouffville is making streets safer with the launch of its Community Safety Camera Program, which uses Automated Speed Enforcement (ASE) technology to reduce speeding and improve safety in school zones and community safety zones. The program is already showing early signs of success, with a 50% reduction in the number of violations reported in designated community safety zones within the first three months of operation.

Aurora Road Closure from July 26 - July 27
Aurora Road between Warden Avenue and Woodbine Avenue will be closed on Saturday July 26, 2025 from 7 AM to 7 PM on Sunday July 27, 2025 for railway rehab work.
