Open House Notice: Downtown Heritage Conservation District

Downtown Stouffville is changing. Help shape how.

Own or rent a property downtown? Wondering how the draft Downtown Heritage Conservation District Plan will affect you? This is your chance to help shape the policies and guidelines for maintenance, alterations, additions, new buildings and public space. Drop into the Open House to find your property, ask the project team your questions, and have your say.

District Plan

For further information on the proposed Heritage Conservation District, please visit the project website at townofws.ca/heritagedistrict. The Heritage Conservation District Study as well as the draft of the Heritage Conservation District Plan can be found here as well as past project updates and the previously completed Heritage Conservation Districts for the surrounding residential areas.

Meeting Format

Tables will be set up around the room containing topic areas of interest. Participants can move to the table containing their areas of interest to interact and make recommendations for the policies relevant to them. If your area of interest isn’t available, the project team is happy to take your comments and recommendations.

Residents are encouraged to attend, learn more about the project, and share feedback to help shape the future of the community.
