Pavement Marking Program

The Town’s pavement marking program will take place across the community, beginning with arterial and collector roads, followed by local streets as needed.

Work will involve applying provincially approved, water-based traffic paint commonly used for municipal operations. In warm, dry conditions, the paint typically becomes track-free within 10 to 15 minutes and fully cures shortly after.

To reduce traffic disruptions and prevent smudging, most work will be completed overnight.

The program is expected to begin later this week, weather permitting, and will take approximately 2 to 4 weeks to complete. Rain or cooler temperatures may cause delays.

Residents may experience brief, mobile lane restrictions and are asked to avoid driving over freshly painted lines until they are fully dry.
