Memorial Park - Servicing improvements, site restoration, and new plantings are underway in the north-east corner of Memorial Park.
The baseball diamond will remain open. A portion of the Park Drive parking lot will be fenced off but will remain open to visitors.
Work is expected through end of November.

Memorial Park Multi-Purpose Trail

The 275-metre multi-purpose trail at Memorial Park is located west of the Leisure Centre and Public Library, this inclusive trail offers a safe, welcoming space for residents of all ages and abilities to enjoy year-round.

The paved loop is perfect for walking, rollerblading, scootering and enjoying the outdoors in the warmer months. In winter, it transforms into a refrigerated skating trail – providing free seasonal fun for the whole community.

This project was made possible through funding from the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP) and includes fully accessible washrooms, changerooms and storage for ice maintenance equipment, creating a true all-season recreational hub.
