Septic Systems

To apply for a building permit for a designated structure, please submit the following forms and plans through the Permit Portal or by email.

• Building Permit Application Form 
• Applicable Law Checklist 
• Schedule 1: Designers Information, for BCIN (Building Code Identification Number) designers
• Commitment to General Review, when required by the Ontario Building Code (OBC)

You need to include the following plans in your application package:

• A site plan identifying the location of existing and proposed structures and all proposed setback dimensions to property lines
• Building materials and specifications of all structures and assemblies with construction section connection details
• Dimensioned plans of designated structure
• Dimensioned elevations showing heights
• Related structural load calculations
