To apply for a permit, please submit the following forms and plans through the Permit Portal or by email.

• Building Permit Application
• Applicable Law Checklist 
• Schedule 1: Designers Information, for BCIN (Building Code Identification Number) designers

You need to include the following plans in your application package:

• Site plan identifying the location of the existing building and proposed garage or carport, including all setback dimensions to property lines
• Floor plan of proposed garage or carport
• Details of footings, including footing size, spacing, depth, height above grade, and frost protection details
• Sizes and locations of all columns
• Sizes, locations, and spans of all beams
• Roof framing information
• Construction details and notes
• Floor framing information (joists, beams, lintels)
