Phase 2 – Highway 48, from Ballantrae Gates Plaza to Ballantrae Common

The Town has awarded this construction tender to Aqua Tech Solutions, Inc. The work includes:

• Clearing and grubbing along the sidewalk alignment; 
• Installation of 1.8m wide concrete sidewalk; 
• Line painting and tactile plate installation at Hearthwood Gate intersection;
• Installation of pedestrian lighting along the sidewalk alignment; and,
• Drainage culvert and grading works, where required.

WSP Canada Inc. has been retained to provide site inspection services and construction administration services.

Any planned disruptions to driveway access or Town services will be communicated in advance. Please label your trash and recycling containers as the Contractor may be required to move these containers once work is underway. The Town is not responsible for damage or loss to privately-owned appurtenances located within the public road right-of-way. Please ensure that any such appurtenances are removed prior to construction.

The project team will confirm works and scheduling and will issue Construction Notice to residents.
