In recognition of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, join First Peoples Group for a Reconciliation 101 workshop hosted by the Museum and Stouffville Library. Learn about Residential Schools, the Truth & Reconciliation Commission of Canada, and explore ways to engage with reconciliation personally and professionally.

19 on the Park

In recognition of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, join First Peoples Group for this storytelling-centred workshop presented by the Museum and the Stouffville Library at 19 on the Park. Participants will begin by exploring Indigenous ways of knowing through oral tradition, and then engage in a mixture of First Nations, Métis and Inuit stories.

Get into the Halloween spirit with this fun event! Participants will enjoy craft stations, science experiments, trick-or-treating through the Museum’s heritage buildings, and more. Don’t forget to wear your costumes! Required parent/guardian free of charge.

Join us for a guided tour of Main Street and discover the stories behind the Veteran Banner Project. Learn about the local heroes who served and sacrificed, and honour their legacy through this meaningful walk. Space is limited.

A delicious taste of Christmas past, featuring a traditional catered tea and a festive tour of the Museum’s buildings. Two seating times are being offered at 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM. Join the Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum and the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority for a cozy morning of crafting and heritage. Enjoy a guided tour through the Museum's historic buildings, beautifully decorated for the holidays, then learn about native cedar species as you create your own eco-friendly ornament with step-by-step instruction.

Santa is visiting the Museum! Join us for a festive day of family fun including visits with Santa, horse-drawn wagon rides, tours of the heritage buildings decorated for the holidays, holiday crafts, and more! Required parent/ guardian free of charge.
