Parking permits

The parking lot at 6240 Main Street will be closed for the Stouffville Market every Friday at 9 a.m. to Saturday at 6 p.m. from May 12 to October 14.

Burkholder Street, from Park Drive to Franklin Street, will be closed every Friday at 3 p.m. through Monday, 8 a.m. (Tuesday on long weekends), between May 12 and October 7.

Park Drive, from Main Street to 75 meters north of Hoover Park Drive, will be closed for Stouffville Main Street 5K Sunday, June 18 from 6:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Main Street, from Mostar Street to Park Drive, will be closed for Stouffville Main Street 5K Sunday, June 18 from 6:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Booth Drive from Park Drive to Thicketwood Drive, will be closed for Strawberry Festival Thursday, June 29 8 a.m. to Sunday July 2 10 p.m.

Park Drive, from 90 meters south of Main Street to 110 meters north of Hoover Park Drive, will be closed for Strawberry Festival Thursday, June 29 8 a.m. to Sunday July 2 10 p.m. 

Main Street, from O'Brien Avenue to Park Drive, will be closed for Rock N Roll Car Show, Saturday, July 1, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

Burkholder Street from Park Drive to Leisure Centre Driveway, will be closed for Stouffville Ribfest Thursday, August 10 8 a.m. to Monday August 14 12 p.m.

Main Street, from O'Brien Avenue to Park Drive, will be closed for Stouffville Summer Street Festival, Saturday, August 19, 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.  

Main Street, from O'Brien Avenue to Park Drive, will be closed for Halloween in the Village, Saturday, October 28, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Park Drive, from Main Street to Booth Street, will be closed for Santa Claus Parade Saturday, December 2 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Main Street, from Mostar Street to Park Drive, will be closed for Santa Claus Parade Saturday, December 2 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Construction at the intersection of Hwy 48 and Main Street/Stouffville Road will take place May 18 through August 30 for road improvements spanning 500 meters in each direction of the intersection. 

As part of the construction operations, traffic will be reduced to a single through lane in each direction at the following locations:

• Eastbound and westbound Main Street/Stouffville Road at HWY 48 intersection
• Northbound and southbound HWY 48 at Main Street/Stouffville Road intersection

York Region is conducting road construction which will take place late April through September on Bloomington Road from west of Woodbine Avenue to Kennedy Road.

Road work will occur on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The road will remain open to through traffic; however, lane restrictions will be required. Access to homes and businesses will be maintained

Removal of the road surface and paving begins at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 29. Paving will continue Monday to Saturday from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Work includes removal and replacement of asphalt road surface, guide rail removal and replacement, curb and catch basin repairs, and cleaning of ditches to ensure water flows freely.

York Region is conducting road construction which will take place mid May through late July on Aurora Road from Kennedy Road to Highway 48.  

Road work will occur on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The road will remain open to through traffic; however, lane restrictions will be required. Access to homes and businesses will be maintained.

Work includes concrete repairs and adjustments to maintenance holes and catch basins, then a road preservation treatment, called microsurfacing.
