The Town of Stouffville provides curbside collection for household waste, including:

• Garbage, recycling and compost
• Bulk items including appliances and furniture
• Christmas trees
• Yard waste

The 2024 waste collection calendar will be mailed to all residential households within Stouffville in December. Please watch for this new calendar in your mailbox and keep it in a handy place for easy reference throughout the year. If you do not receive a copy please contact us in January and one can be sent to you.

We collect waste from Tuesday to Friday depending on where you live. View our 2024 waste collection calendar to find out when to put out different types of waste based on where you live. Please have your waste ready for pickup by 7 a.m.

We collect green bin compost and blue bin recycling every week. We collect garbage every other week and yard waste every other week from April to November.

We also pick up Christmas trees for one week in January. Learn more about how to dispose of Christmas trees.
